We had a phenomenal week exploring our passions! Students had about an hour each day to research, create, and enjoy learning whatever they chose to learn. Some explored with a classmate, while most explored their own passion. Then, on Friday, about half the students shared with the class. We learned about baseball and basketball players, 3-D printing, origami, WW II planes, the brain, Finnish dancing, and the impossible game. We even had a sing-along. See our class Twitter account (@gotwinsandy) for numerous pictures of the students as teachers. We will continue sharing on Monday; I can't wait to see more genius.
All students will use flipgrid to reflect on their use of ELF traits during this process. Here is the link to our question, and also where you can see their completed videos. Use the password given in class. Students are focusing on using PVLEGS whenever they present or speak in front of others. Keep that in mind as you view these videos as well. Thank you! http://flipgrid.com/#aaadae9d We brainstormed our geniuses for our "We Are Geniuses" wall. There are a lot of talents among our classmates. In addition, every Wednesday we will share our wonderings as we learn about another fascinating topic on Wonderopolis. Please check out their website, which presents another wonder every day.
